Sadie's Play House

Nina spent most of the weekend building Sadie a playhouse. There are still some improvements to be made but I'd say Sadie has the coolest playhouse in all of Astana.
We also went to a craft show today and bought Sadie some handmade felt slippers to keep her feet warm this winter.

Trip to the beach

On Wednesday, We went to the beach that is at top of the big tent. It only cost 2500 Tenge (16 USD) instead of the normal 100,000 (66 USD). Nina and Sadie went around 2 pm and I joined them after school. It was a lot of fun, but I don't think we will be going there when they raise the price again.

Circus

We took Sadie to the Circus on Saturday. She saw cats and dogs, a monkey, a cheetah, horses and lots of people balancing on top of each other. Our camera battery died after the cheetah so we only have pictures from half the show.

Sadie loves her oatmeal so much she has to eat it with two spoons.

The sweater Sadie is wearing is one that Babi and Dede bought for me in New Zealand when I was Sadie's age.

















One evening Nina and I were trying to figure out how to make the dishwasher work. Sadie used the time to eat some cheese.
