Turkey Day Six

On day six it rained again and Sadie wasn't feeling very well, maybe too much new exotic food. We went to the Topkapi palace but Sadie ended up needing to go home and nap. John toured around and saw the royal and a large diamond and Mohammad's hair. There are pictures of the Aya Irina which was another old church which is now a concert hall. It was built even before the Aya Sophia. There are some old obolisks, one transported from Egypt, one from Greece and another that was used in the hippodrome to show the drivers where to turn left. It used to be covered in bronze but the fourth crusaders scraped it off thinking it was gold. The buildings all look amazing in twilight.
