Turkey Day Four

On day four it continued to rain. We went to the blue mosque which was amazing but only took about 30 minutes. We saw the million, which is the pilar that all distances were measured from during the Eastern Roman Empire times. We also went to the Basilica Cistern (read more about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_Cistern). Later in the afternoon Sadie enjoyed discovering that purple cows in Turkey have nipples too! We went for a nice walk in the park next to the palace. It was a romantic place, there were couples snuggling on all the benches. There was another large monument, but we don't know what it was.
