Back in Astana
We made it back to Astana at 8 am on Saturday morning (Jan 8). It was only -29 degrees Celsius outside. Warmer then it had been the entire week. It warmed up to only -15 today, almost balmy outside. The air has been a little hazy due to all the coal being burned for heat. Sadie has adjusted to the jet lag fairly well, except for waking up from 11:30 pm to 1:30 am the last two nights and falling asleep on Nina's lap while eating a bowl of beans at 7:30 pm tonight.
