Sadie's Thanksgiving and a Kazakh Christmas bazaar

Sadie had some really big parts in her Thanksgiving day program at school. She was a pilgrim. She even had lines to memorize along with the songs they sang.

She asked to take off the bonnet several times throughout the play.
Then they had a feast.

We also had a big Thankgiving day feast with the teachers in the gym. One of the teachers organized a play for the kids to participate it. Sadie was pretty sure she didn't want to do it, but once all her friends were up there she did just fine.

We bought chocolate bars and melted them into little cups with the intention of making our own chocolates to give people for Christmas treats. But then they slowly started disappearing from the fridge day by day and by Christmas we had eaten them all. Whoops!

This is the Christmas bazaar where I bought our Kazakh rug. It was really beautiful, lots of lovely crafts.
